The Congress party promotes this channel with the support of non-resident Indians. Bharat Broadcasting Network Limited with Aniyankutty, a Dubai-based businessman and Jaihind Communications with Vijayan Thomas, another Dubai-based businessman as its chairman, jointly runs the channel.

Ramesh Chennithala is the President of the channel. M.M. Hassan, former minister and official spokesman of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee, holds the office of managing director. K. P. Mohanan is the CEO. B. S. Shiju as the director of Jaihind TV.

Jaihind TV was launched by Bharat Broadcasting Network Ltd on August 17, 2007, with the declared motto, ‘For the Family For the Nation’.
